NEW Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Program!
Summer EBT is a federally funded program that provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. The Summer EBT benefit is $120 per eligible student for Summer 2024. The Illinois Department of Human Services administers Summer EBT with assistance from the Illinois State Board of Education. RHS is proud to honor Jacob McLeod for his recent signing of an Auto Mechanics Apprenticeship with Zimmerman Honda! Jacob is a student in the Area Career Center Auto Mechanics Program. He applied and interviewed for the internship opportunity and was selected by Zimmerman Honda. He will begin the apprenticeship this summer and will continue into his senior year next fall - attending school half the day and working at Zimmerman Honda the other half.
