The Rockridge Junior High Speech Team traveled to Monmouth United to compete in the IESA Speech Contest. They represented our school extremely well and gave fantastic performances.

Our JH/HS Kitchen Witches served a Halloween spread for lunch Monday. The kids enjoyed Swine Sandwich (Pork BBQ), Spooky Spuds (cheesy potatoes), Eek Slush Cup (Strawberry/Mango Slush), & Spooktacular Bar (pumpkin bar). Thanks for a Ghostly Meal!!
During the first junior high art club session, students learned the basics of working with watercolor as well as a variety of painting techniques. During the second week session, students applied their new skills to add color to the iris of what would eventually be a giant, spooky eyeball! This week, art club students completed their giant, spooky eyeball projects! Additionally, 6th grade students are writing stories that will be displayed in the hallway alongside the eyeballs.
