
Tonight's F/S baseball game at Geneseo has been postponed.

Mrs. DuPage's Biology students explored the vital function of the P53 gene, which controls the timing of cell growth and division. They then applied their knowledge by designing marketing campaigns to educate others about P53's role in preventing cancer, as mutations in this gene are often linked to the disease.

The Rockets baseball team defeated Erie-Prophetstown tonight 4-2. Tanner Dyes 2 run home run broke the tie that led the Rockets to victory.

Rockridge softball improves to 4-1 on the season with a 5-0 win over Erie-Prophetstown. The Rockets will be at home tomorrow against Galesburg.

Due to forecasted temperatures later this evening there will be no JV softball game tonight at Erie- Prophetstown. The varsity game is still on as scheduled at 4:30 pm.

The Rockets baseball team improved to 4-1 with a 9-4 victory over Payson.

Over spring break, the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department will be doing state mandated training at Rockridge High School. During this time you will see several squad cars and Deputies at the school. Please know that this is just training, and please keep clear of the area during that time. A 9 run 6th inning propels the Rockets baseball team to a 12-4 victory over Knoxville. Rockets move to 2-0 on the season. The Rockets will be back at home on Wednesday against Alleman.

Rockets softball takes down Moline 6-4 to move to 2-0 on the season! Home opener will be next Tuesday against Rock Island at 4:30 pm.

Rockridge Baseball opened up at Newman. @carsen_dekeyrel collects the W, 5-3. The lefty went 4 innings allowing 1 hit and 2 runs (zero earned). @cullenschwigen with the save closing the game. @OwenSte93428682 led the rockets at the plate with 3 hits (10 total hits for the team).

The Rockridge High School Juniors have been learning about potential "paths" available to them after high school these past couple of week in English class! Thank you to representatives from St. Ambrose, Midwest Technical Institute, Monmouth College, Morrison Tech, the Navy, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Local 25, General Grind Mechanical, Muscatine Community College, Illinois State Police, Black Hawk College, and Western Illinois University! Our students learned a lot about all of the opportunities available to them!
